In 2016, my mom was working on opening her own State Farm office. One of the final steps in this process is a panel interview where you present your business plan to corporate representatives for approval. In this presentation, you need to outline your mission statement, production strategy, hiring practices, financials, and so much more. I was going into my final year of college for graphic design at the time, and my mom asked me to help her design her business plan. She successfully won her opportunity and still operates her State Farm office to this day.

In the decade that followed, I had the opportunity to design business plans for several State Farm agents who went on to successfully win their opportunities. Select spreads and layouts are shown below.

In 2026, I created a business called Stand Out Plans that specializes in designing these presentation-ready business plans for insurance agency ownership.
